Whether helping his clients with property with a boat dock or a parcel of land for a marina, he maintains the highest standard of ethics and professionalism throughout the transaction from inception to closing.
John transitioned to real estate from an engineering background and years of travel and recreational yachting. Combining his experience in recreational navigation with his knowledge of the South Florida real estate market, Mr. Ranivand has developed a keen eye for unique properties with potential for investment and development.
His experiences in various business ventures include antique car restoration and brokerage, veterinary hospital design and build, boutique hotel renovation design and management, and real estate. He has a special interest in cruise travel event production.
When John’s daughter, Dr. Ranivand, graduated from veterinary medicine school, he made it his mission to make her dream a reality. John undertook the building and design of a veterinary hospital business that is successfully thriving and operating today.
John owns Amethyst Garden Inn—a historic luxury private Inn located in Savannah GA. In 2015 when he was looking for the hotel of his dreams, John fell in love with a historic Victorian building in Savannah Ga., the Amethyst Garden Inn. He was captivated by the unrivaled location, the proportions of its Victorian façade, the harmony of its interior spaces, and the building's history. He purchased the property and made it a point of pride to bring the Amethyst Garden to today's glorious state.
He undertook a complete renovation, modernizing and beautifully decorating the hotel, creating an intimate universe where each room has its own distinctive character. Fine antique furnishings form a perfect harmony with original period paintings and hand-picked objects of art (crystal, bronze sconces, and chandeliers).
John is an avid competitive ballroom dancer, founder, and director of Dancing at Sea a special interest cruise travel event production company. John has an extensive international network.
